I took it first thing in the morning all by it self w/water then waited an hour. I took it almost 3 weeks as prescribed when all the while I was getting sicker and SICKER!!! and SICKER!!! I forced myself not to go to the Hospital. My symptoms caused my whole body & stomach to be over the top Nauseated, fever, sweats, red rash, severe blurred vision, confusion, weight gain etc. If my Thyroid isn t working then how can I tolerate the ONLY Thyroid medication out there? Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
After going through your history, your doctor has prescribed Levothyroxin for you because most probably you are suffering from hypothyroidism.
The dosage prescribed to you is a very mild dose.
The symptoms you are experiencing except fever are the symptoms of hypothyroidism.
As the dosage of Levothyroxin prescribed by your doctor is very less, these symptoms are occuring.
Another possibilty is you may be suffering from thyoiditis most commonly hashimoto's type.
So.i would suggest you to check out your T3, T4 and TSH levels once more, and take appropriate dosage of the medication after consulting your doctor.
Thank you.
