General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are indicative of long term side effects of post cholecystectomy. After gall bladder removal the patients commonly have problems like indigestion, flatulence and hence nausea or vomiting. They may have symptoms like diarrhea due to fatty food intolerance or symptoms of jaundice. IBS is also a late complication. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get all tests and investigations done so that treatment can be started at the earliest. In the meantime, you are suggested to take anti diarrheal, anti emetic & PPIs to ease discomfort.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
