What Causes Nausea, Stomach Ache, Vomiting Of Blood And Blood In Stools?

My friend is having stomach aches, nausea, vomiting blood as well as blood in her stools, pain in her left side, feeling of nausea anytime she eats, constant heart burn, and feeling weak and tired. She has seen a physician, however, they said they believed it to be ulcers without doing any testing or real digging. Do you have some possible thoughts as to what this may be? She is 31, non-smoker, in good health, and does not use any substances. Thank you!
