Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was playing soccer and I got tripped and fell backwards and the top of my head broke my fall. While I was laying on the ground, the girl from the other team went to kick the soccer ball and missed, and she kicked the back of my head instead. Its Monday and this happened on Saturday, but I m noticing neck pain on the left side and I can barley move me neck.
The nature of the injury which you have described might be a serious one. The top of my head broke my fall? I would suggest to get it investigated with an X-ray cervical spine and if pain persists CT or MRI of the brain.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shubir Walter Abraham, General & Family Physician
Neck pain is due to trauma to the neck muscles. I suggest you to take muscle relaxants and to give hot fomentation initially. When the pain decreases you can consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
