What Causes Neck Stiffness And Nausea When Suffering From Otitis Externa?

I have had otitis externa for three weeks and now it has developed into otitis media. I have neck stiffness, and nausea but no fever. My jaw also hurts. Are these symptoms contestant with a bad ear infection or could they be something more serious?

Hi,
From history it seems that all symptoms you are having might be due to ear infection.
Due to ear infection either otitis externa or otitis media there might be having enalarged sub mandibular and neck lymph nodes might produce stiffness in neck muscles, jaw pain and some vertigo giving rise nausea.
Go for treatment of infection and some anti-inflammatory medicine.
With recovering of infection you will be alright.
Ok and take care.
