General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms may be related to one condition or a combination of issues. Prolonged healing is most commonly related to either poor blood supply to an area or poor immune system. The immune system can be impaired due to diabetes, infections such as HIV, use of oral steroids, e.g., for your asthma, autoimmune diseases such as RA or lupus, rarely cancers such as leukemia or lymphoma. Night sweats can be due infections, diabetes, hormonal causes, leukemia/lymphoma, thyroid disease. It would be best to see your doctor for an assessment which would include physical examination and blood tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
