I had Mastoid Surgery 30 years ago. I now have scar tissue there. Is it possible the scar tissue could be now causing me to have a numb tongue and a burning dry mouth. What can be done to fix this problem. It is very painful and I have had it for a year now.

hello thanks for consulting at hcm,, wts ur age nw, r u a female,,it might be due other dental problems in ur mouth,,i doubt it is due to mastoid surgery,,do salt water gargle thrice daily,, use artificial saliva,,drink frequent sips of water,,kindly consult an oral physician to check why it is causing and for treatment,,hope it helps..tc
