Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Numbness In Fingers, Arms And Face After Pneumonia Shot?
I had my first pneumonia shot today because I am now 65 the doctor recommended it. But just about a few minutes I got a numbness in my fingers and the numbmess moved all the way up my arm and into the left side of my face in my mouth. What caused that?
This could result from local irritation of the nerve in the upper arm after the shot. This should resolve by itself. If not please visit a neurologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ahmad Nazzal, General & Family Physician
