i am a 40 yr old male,with lower back pain,,i have numbness in my legs,ct scan said diffuse disc bulg at L5-S1 CAUSING BILATERAL MODERATE NEURAL FORAMINAL STENOSIS.. MILD IN L3-4 and L4-5 ..i alsoave pain in my sholders cousing nubness in my arms and hands..i dont think they are related
Hi, (it is probably MRI and not CT SCAN that u have undergone)
If there is any weakness of the Great toe extension( weakness ) as compared to the normal side, associated with neural foraminal stenosis (numbness and shooting pain ) the plan of management is :
1) Complete bed rest for 3 weeks 2) Intermittent pelvic traction daily for about 1 week. 3) T.neugaba M 0-0-1 for about 1 month
IF NOT RELIEVED BY THE ABOVE TREATMENT, THEN SURGERY: L5-S1 Discectomy with neural foraminal decompression .This will relieve u off your pain and numbness.
