Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my wife has had numbness to the fingers and hands for several years. it comes and goes lasting for a couple of hours to a week or so. 4 days ago she had sudden numbness to the whole left side of her face and left arm. no pain, no slurred speech or anything else. an MRI was done and the doctor stated that they found a 7mm lesion to the right side of the brain. the last 2 days the numbness is now traveling to the righht side of her face and arm, and she is complaining that her muscles in her arms and legs do feel like she did a marathon workout and complaining of fatigue. we have no insurance and the origional doctor is saying just ride it out because further testing is expensive. please tell me what the posibilities are and what we should do from here. ( note the numbness has been moving in the last 3-4 hours to the right side of the face and arm.
