What Causes Numbness In The Right Leg And Hip While Treating Ovarian Cysts?
I have a cyst on my right ovarie and in February I experienced my right leg going numb from my hip down to my toes and didn t think nothing of it really am only 25 years old but right now am having pain level being at a 8 in my hip n lower back with my leg being numb
Leg pain and numbness that spreads from the hip to the toes can be caused by sciatica and is related to the nerve. You may need an examination with the doctor to confirm this. Generally, pain killers are used to help with sciatica. Ibuprofen 600-800 mg every 6 hours after food and Tylenol 500 mg every 6 hours can be used. Also, it is important to keep as active as possible and avoid bed rest. A physiotherapist may help alleviate the pain earlier by giving you exercises that relax muscles and also strengthens them.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
