What Causes Numbness On The Right Side?

I was admitted to hospital June 1o due to numbness down my right side. I underwent a cat/mri scan as the doctors thought I may of had a stroke. I also had a lumber punch.. The results came back clear however my blood pressure averages at about 155/100. The doctors seem to think my symptons relate to hypertension of some sort. After xmas i am to have a bp monitor fitted. The orginally told me I have migraine with aura however I have not had a sever headache since then. I have asked if i have ms as i am really worried they said no... I still feel unsure. My heart rate is running at about 120 could this also be a sympton of the numbness??? I am 46 and female.
