What Causes Occasional Blood In Stools?

Hi....have occasional bloody (bright red) stool....maybe 3-4 times in the last year. One time was definately when I took "Aleve"....looked at bottle and that was a side effect of excess dosage. Another time was when I ate a big chinese dinner...assume it was the gluten/MSG/Soy sauce.....any thoughts?
