What Causes Occasional Dizziness And Vision Loss With History Of Epilepsy?

So I've been having the occasional mornings getting really dizzy in the shower. The room starts to spin and I have a brief loss of eye sight for a moment or two. Plus every time this happens I get so nauseous I have to get into fetal position to try and get comfortable again. I used to have epilepsy when I was a kid, and my parents both thought that this could maybe be signs of it acting up again.
