What Causes Occasional Numbness In The Left Hand?

I have occasionally numbness in my left hand. I am in good health, age 72 just had a physical and no problems. Just started a couple of days ago. I am not on any medication only vitamins - calcium, biotin, probiotic, lutein, magnesium and a low dose aspirin.
