What Causes Orange Vaginal Discharge Post Menstrual Cycle?

I have light orange spotting for a few days after my period now. The first couple days my bleeding seemed abnormally heavy then it ended on time on day 5. For three days after now I have an orange discharge. I had sex during the end of my period. After my period stopped for a day the sex made me bleed and it was extra dark. After that day I have been having orangish white, I have never had orange spotting in my life. What does the orange spotting mean?

Hello dear

Understand your concern.
I think you are suffering from bacterial vaginosis or trichomonas infection.
It may be sexually transmitted.

You should consult the gynecologist to diagnose the infection.
Pelvic examination
Microscopy of vaginal discharge
Ph of vagina: It is alkaline in bacterial vaginosis
PCR, NAAT and Elisa for other STDs.

Doctor may give following advice:
Tablet metronidazole 400 mg TDS for 5-7 days
Maintain hygiene after and before sex.
Probiotic tablet orally/vaginally
Apply Apple cider vinegar: it has excellent antibacterial and antifungal properties
Wash your vagina with warm salt water 4-5 times in a day
Wear loose pure cotton inner wear
Keep the vagina clean (Not wet)
Avoid sex and avoid douching till you get better
Use condom and lubrication during sex.
