Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently got a scrap due to a piece of wood falling on my arm. It gave me a pretty big cut. It healed by scabbing. This past weekend while washing dishes the water made it itch. Then I noticed I had little bumps in the scar and then I noticed little tiny bumps around it and on my arm.
So had you consulted any doctor ??? Because such big wound should be properly cleaned and regular dressing done...
Anyhow just now you are in healing phase . In big woung excess granulation tissue form and more itching present... Around wound inflammatory induration will remain for few days...
If still full healing not there then you can consult doctor for dressing ..and if need and wound clean suture can be taken...
Apply betardine ointment over wound daily...
Take care....
