What Causes Pain And Burning In The Vagina During The Intercourse At The Age Of 70?

pain during intercourse? I am 71 as is my husband. We have a healthy sex life for folks our age, I think. We have tried many things to determine the pain/burning around the outside of the vagina during intercourse? We have used rubbers, all sorts of lubricants and just can't figure out what is causing it? It doesn't last long. As soon as we stop, it ceases. No clue what to consider next.

Hi,
This pain seems to be due to dryness in vagina as this is common at this age due to low estrogen level.
Consult Gynaec, application of estrogen cream will help for painless intercourse.
Rule out any local problem like dermatitis, infection.
Ok and take care.
