General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
You may be suffering from reflux osophagitis. You are already taking chewable antacids which is good. You should also add proton pump inhibitor antacids like omeprazole or pentoprazol.
You should avoid cola drinks, spicy food, heavy meals, tea, coffee, alcohol, smoking, etc. You avoid lying down position immediately after having meals.
If it's very bothering or you feel difficulty in swallowing, then You should consult doctor. A gastroscopy may need to be done to diagnose the condition.
Hope this will be helpful.
Take care.
