I had bladder and prostate surgery 3 weeks ago. I think I am trying to pass a blot clot or surgery debri. I have been peeing fine until last night. first urination this morning caused pain in my penis. It seems there is an obstruction right near the tip of my penis. I don t have a temperature. General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
It is common to experience some pain and discomfort during urination after bladder and prostate surgery. There may be a blood clot or debris from the surgery causing an obstruction. It is important to contact your healthcare provider and inform them of your symptoms as they may need to examine you and possibly perform additional tests, such as an ultrasound or cystoscopy, to determine the cause of your symptoms.
They may also prescribe medication to help relieve pain and discomfort during urination. It is important to follow their care recommendations and to drink plenty of fluids to help flush out any debris or blood clots.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
