just over 1 and a half weeks ago i had passed out from a medical condition not yet fully diagnosed and i fell hard from standing over onto my right side on hard wooden floor, since then i have had swelling and pain in my right foot and ankle, i feel and intense fire like burning pain along the outside edge from the little toe right along into the heel and up the back-side of my leg, along with swelling on outside edge of foot, my toes are stiff and have reduced movement and are painful and feel really cold. I am also experiencing swelling and pain in the toes and just under there and a small area on inside of arch. i have seen a dr who told me i pinched a nerve if no better to see a podiatrist, the dr did no scans or anything and i wasnt convinced that amount of pain was just a pinched nerve as i have had that before and this is very different. so a few days later i saw a poditatrist who sent me for a ultrasound and xray and they came back clear he said, so he said see him next week unless it gets worse then to come in sooner. I have moved my appt up as its getting worse not better. he said he is unsure as to what is fully going on but thinks i have a nerve crush injury?he mentioned something about padding foot maybe in next app. what do you think is wrong with my foot and what can i do to help it? i already take pain meds, anti inflammatories and have foot up resting, it not helping it is on fire just resting it no moving, what does the padding involve he was talking about? i am unsure how a little padding in one area would help. please help me
