What Causes Pain And Swelling In Neck Along With Seizures After A Fall?

I fell on my back on Saturday and blanked out for a few seconds. I cannot remember falling but do remember the thud when the tiles hit the back of my neck. I also has 'shakes' which could even be a seizure for the first time in my life when I fell.There was a bit of tenderness on that night but nothing at all on Sunday and Monday. This monring, I could not get out of bed. The area where my spine meets the back of my neck is very tender and swollen and is extremely painful. Took me half an hour to drag myself up. I took ibubrufen and have seen the nurse. I am going to see a doctor in a few hours. Can this be related to my fall? I did not ahve any pain for 2 days and suddenly, I cannot even move. The nurse was more concenred about the 'shake' or 'seizure' than the immediate pain on hand. Are all these related? I have been under some stress due to studies etc but can things become this worse? Please help.
