What Causes Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Breasts?
Hi. I have heavy and painful breasts when I am getting close to my monthly cycle but for a while now I have been experiencing pain in my right breast towards my armpit and the place is harder. I also have tingling sensation and sharp pains in it as well as biting sensations close to my right nipple. Once in a while I feel the tingling in my left breast. But I have gained weight recently which has caused my breast to expand. And I take nutritional supplement as well. Please what could be the cause?
Hi, and pleased to answer you. Many women associate breast pain with breast cancer, and then begin to worry. However, in most cases, breast pain is not related to this disease. Also, it is good to know the other reasons why a breast can be painful (pregnancy, cyst, breastfeeding, infection…etc). Many women can have painful breasts at any time in their lives. This is, in fact, a common symptom of some hormonal changes such as menstruation or pregnancy. The sensibility of the breasts before or after menstruation is, indeed, something very common, and is not related to a serious disease, if not a simple hormonal change. As you have a lateralization of pain towards the right breast and her armpit, I recommend you see your gynecologist for an examination. Best wishes.
