What Causes Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Fingers Post Injury?

My daughter plays fast pitch softball and was hit in arm very close to wrist while batting. Fingers were tingling at time of occurrence. Bruising but no swelling next day, still very painful (says entire length of forearm hurts). Could it be fracture?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Tingling after trauma is due to injury to the nerves in the arm while playing.
Bruising is due to soft tissue injury.
Pain is expected after injury however, if the pain is very troublesome and unbearable, a X-ray of the fore-arm is required to rule out fracture.
If no fracture is present then there may be soft tissue injury.
Soft tissue injury requires rest, pain killers and hot fomentation for quick recovery.

Thanks and take care
