What Causes Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Leg While Standing?

I have a nerve issue in my back that cause my legs to tingle, go numb and then pain if I stand longer than a few minutes or walk more than about 50 yards. I have been going to a Pain management doctor for my other back / neck issues but they have yet to help solve this issue and the lumbar injections do not help. I need to know what type of doctor would be better to help with this issue so I can walk my dogs and be active again? Would it be a neurologist or an orthopedic specialist or what as I do not have financial resources or time off work to go to several doctors to find out which specialist would be best for helping this issue. Hello,

Tingling sensation, numbness, and pain in leg can be due to compression of nerve in spinal cord.

There are various reasons for compression of nerves in spinal cord like bulging of disc etc.

I suggest you to consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment and thus management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
