What Causes Pain And Tremors In The Body?

My husband has strong aching and walking ability is very slow. He has been shaking and saying he is very cold. Have him in bed; took temperature and it is 99.2. He has stenosis of the spine and walking is already slow but this is an increase. Needed help getting undressed for bed.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You have mentioned spinal stenosis in which leg weakness can occur. Provide your CT or X-ray report to give comment on that. Rule out hypothyroidism by serum TSH estimation.

Check the electrolyte level as well and SGPT, SGOT, urea, creatinine. Neurological examination and muscular reflexes should be checked. If needed NCV (nerve conduction velocity test) and EMG like an investigation should be done.Consult a physician for examination

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
