General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.
I think that your symtoms are related to brachial neuritis. It is a term used to describe an inflammation of the brachial plexus.
Treatment consist in:
-Oral steroids to reduce the inflammation (which is usually a component of the pain)
-Rest or reduced activity
-Opioid medications for several days if they are needed to help control severe pain
If the pain persist see a neurologist.
Hope my answer was helpful,if you have any other question I will be glad to answer, thanks!
