What Causes Pain Around Neck And Body In Spite Of Taking Nortryptomer?

I am suffering from pain in around neck n upper back of d body since 2 mnth it has been started by right shoulder pain since 1 yr olmost after d consultation to d doctor, prescribed me nortryptomer p tablet....so my question is.... tablet is to cure????

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain around neck and body in spite of taking Nortryptomer . Well it is very important to find out the exact cause of neck stiffness and correct it . Neck stiffness can occur due to may reasons like muscle strains , nerve compression , Injuries ,diseases, cervical spondylosis and Certain diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis . Trapezius muscle problem can also be one of the reason. If the pain persist even after taking medicine then consult your doctor again and fid out the exact cause. I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor will examine physically , ask you to do certain movements and may order CT scan . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant and may recommend specific exercises . For now do stretching exercises and start physical therapy of neck . Sometimes doctor mat recommend steroid injection at pain site .Doctor may also recommend physical therapy . In severe case doctor may recommend surgery .
