What Causes Pain Around The Neck, Shoulders, And Upper Back ?
I am a 56yo bit female, I just went to the Dr. and I told him I had pains around my neck,shoulders,and upper back. The Dr. said at first that it was bursitis, which I thought was b.s., but the second visit he mentioned that I might have some autoimmune disease, needing blood work and the whole nine, sent me home with robaxin, notvast, and lexipro, pls advise me of something, because I feel this doctor is just guessing. It can be cervical spondylitis. It is not an autoimmune disorder. Avoid using pillow while sleeping. You can start using a neck collar. Use a hard bed, take correct posture while sleeping and sitting. X-ray of the neck can be taken for proper diagnosis.
