What Causes Pain Between The Shoulders While Having Upper Respiratory Infection?
A couple days ago I felt very tired and couldn t stay awake. I took a nap and the next day it hurt to move due to pain in between my shoulder blades. I have an upper respiratory infection and the pain is still in shoulder blades. I have a dry barky cough. I had double pneumonia back in 2010.I don t have an appetite and feel fatigue and also a sore throat. Could this be walking pneumonia?
I think this is muscle pain possible due to your sleeping position. I don't think you may have pneumonia since your cough is dry. I think you better get checked by a doctor to listen to your lungs and see your throat to check for infection flushing a light in your throat. Treatment depends if the tonsils are infected or not.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
