For the past 2 days my lower right abdomen has been getting a pain while urinating. This morning I had the pain while urinating but also after I was done the pain did not stop it continued. When I pallpate my upper pubic region it hurts even when it is a soft touch. Why could this be?
I have read the query and according to the symptoms narrated by you,the pain while urinating is most likely due to an Urinary tract infection.I usually advice my patients with similar symptoms to follow certain measures to get rid of the symptoms:
1.Drink plenty of water and avoid being out in the sun for long.
2.Antibiotics like tab.ciprofloxacin for 1 week will help in clearing the infection.
3.Don't hurry while you are urinating, complete urination is required for passing out of residual bacteria through urine.
4.If symptoms are still not relieved consult an urologist to carry out urine analysis,USG abdomen to rule out other causes like stones in urinary tract, renal infection.
Hope this answers the query.
