Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Have had intermittent pain in back (kidneys?) for a while especially when sleeping on my back. Today the urine flow is clear and stings. Its the weekend...what can I do until I see a physician. I have some Amoxxilian (sp?) should I take this until I can get to the doctor next week.
Dear friend your back pain can be because urinary tract infection or kidney infection.or can be muscular reason.to be on safe side you start taking plenty of water.also cant take a full course of an antibiotic like amoxycillin.the stinging sensation will go if the medicine reduces the infection.and as far as low back pain is concerned ,a back muscle strengthening exercise will help to reduce the pain.taking a few analgesic will be a good idea to reduce the pain.hopefully you will be free of pain during this week-end and can see a doctor in next week.till then my best wishes for you.
