What Causes Pain In Buttock And Thigh?

I got bit by a mosquito ( I think) on my right buttock and now for the last 2 days I have been experiencing aching, pain in my right buttock down my thingh and into my right foot. It is a longing aching feeling and I cant sleep from the pain at night. What could it be?

Hello,

You should wash the site of the bite thoroughly with warm water. Since the bite is causing you pain you can take antihistamines to prevent allergy symptoms. To ease pain and swelling you can take analgesics and NSAIDS, one SOS when needed. Apply hydrocortisone ointment in the affected area to get relieve from the discomfort.

Application of cold compress effectively gives relieve. Wear light colored clothes with long sleeves and socks. Wear long clothes. If you are getting fever you should get clinically examined in the ER and get blood tests done. Get treated at the earliest.
