What Causes Pain In Ear With Tingling Sensation Down The Jaw?
I have a pain in what feels like my ear drum, as well as some odd tingling sensation that radiates down my jaw?? any suggestions?i am 31 years old 5 10 and 230 pounds, i had weight loss surgery ,one year ago, -80 pounds and was recently told i am b vitamin deficient, and anemic, no other current health problems or recent surgeries
Noted your history about having pain in ear drum radiating to the jaw like some odd tingling, had weight loss surgery and is vitamin B deficient with anemia, no other problems. The pain in the ear can be due to inflamamtion within the middle ear hence the pain and radiation to the jaw. I would advise you the following: It is better to get examined by an ENT Surgeon. This will help to know the exact cause and may be few added investigations needed. Proper antibiotic cover, anti-inflammatory medicines with painkiller properties and an antihistamine should help to come out of the problems. All medicines may need a valid prescription. Do not blow nose. Do not instill anything in ears. Also get corrected the Vitamin B deficiency and anemia .
