What Causes Pain In Groin Area Radiating Towards Inner Thigh And Knee?

I had a wheel chair move when I tried to sit down. Landed on the carpet with concrete under that. Back and hip pain right away. I am now having pain in the groin area and goes down inner thigh to knee. I have been alternating ibprophen and acetimetiphen. I am concerned because this happened May 1st and is not getting better. Had a hip xray but showed no break. What s going on with the groin area to the inner thigh and knee. Is very painful Thank you

Hello,

As you explain the situation, it might be a contusion which means a hematoma of that are. Usually it needs sometime to be healed. If not then go to see your doctor for close examination of that area and after to decide if you should be worried about or not.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
