What Causes Pain In Hip Bone Below Rib Cage?

I ve been having a side ache? that wraps around my hip.even at hip bone below my rib cage. On the right side.It feels like it s stretch g or pulling.it has been going on for a couple weeks.it hurts sometimes to sit and while laying in bed.this is suppose to be a free quiestion

I have gone through your query and being your physician i completely understand your health concerns.
What is ur age and sex? for how long u are suffering from it? any other associated problem? like diabetes or hypertension? any history of RENAL STONE in past ? are u having fever? what about urination? is it burning? do u feel pain while walking? is your hip joint red?
Based upon your history it is difficult to pinpoint, the pain which you have described is either due to RENAL pathology or JOINT pathology .
You need to be examined by a DOCTOR so that appropriate diagnosis can be made out.
If i am your attending physician , i will look definitely for renal as well as joint pathology. i will get your FBC, urine r/e, along with Xray KUB and ABDOMINAL ultrasound scan .
After then i will be able to offer u appropriate treatment.
Meet your doctor for proper management
Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain. drink plenty of water and continue with your medications.
