Hi,
Noted your history of pain in left arm while walking slowly and not at other times, triple
bypass surgery was done 23 years ago, angiogram showing 2 of the major coronary vessels normal, Echo and
stress tests are normal hence even the Doctor does not seem to tell you for the cause of pain in left arm while walking. The most common cause I can think about after going through your detailed history are one of the following:
Cervical spondilitis causing left are pain should be rule out.
Local causes in arm like
fibromyalgia,
tendinitis or even related to shoulder joint.
Consult an Orthopedic surgeon for proper clinical examination and go for further investigation like MRI of
cervical spine or shoulder as needed to see for another causes and get treated.
Till then put the left arm in a sling while walking and see if it still pains.
Avoid anything that increases the pain in left arm and tell your Doctor about additional findings for him to correlate well and get treated properly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
