What Causes Pain In Left Side Of Chest, Arm And Shoulder?
hI , i am from Pakistan. there is acute pain problem of my mother s left side of chest , arm and shoulder for last 5 years. After long series of tests we found nothing, not heart problems etc. She use Angised during the pain and after 5 minutes there is releive in pain. Remember, there is no Heart Problem found i think it is stomach pain
Long standing chest pain can be due to gastrointestinal problem or pleural pathology. I suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist for examination of upper GI tract - endoscopy to assess the esophagus and stomach to look for any changes due to regurgitation. Gastrointestinal reflux disease can lead to chest pain and soreness of throat.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Get absence of heart or coronary problem confirmed by consulting cardiologist. I would also suggest MRI of cervical thoracic spine. Possible spondylitis can cause such symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
