What Causes Pain In Lower Back And Hips Along With Migraines?

I have had chronic pain for about 6 years now all over my body but mostly lower back and hips. My shoulders and neck are always really sore and tense and sometimes I can't use my left one without extreme pain. I also have migraines at least three days a week which make me nauseous. Also there's a jelly like substance in my poop. What's wrong with me?

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. The symptoms like persisting pain in lower back, hips, shoulders along with migrainous headaches could occur due to a number of reasons. If medical and orthopaedic causes have been ruled out then most probable cause for this chronic pain is Somatization disorder or may be due to somatic symptoms of depression. As the symptoms are present since last 6 years so I'd advise you to consult a psychiatrist for treatment. Medicines like SNRIs like Venlafaxine, Desvenlafaxine, Duloxetine etc are very helpful in such type of chronic pains. These medicines will improve mood and will reduce the somatic symptoms also. Please consult a psychiatrist for evaluation and prescription of these medicines.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
