Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I threw my back out Saturday lifting a heavy box. The pain started at my lower back below my butt area. Then, It moved Sunday to my lower back above my butt. TOday I helped coach a girl in tumbling doing a back walkover and got a pain in my right shoulder (bad one) and its moved up my shoulder around to my arm pit and keeps going back and forth to my shoulder then armpit. I wasn't sure if my back pain has traveled to my shoulder or if could be dangerous. I am trying to avoid serious anxiety so I need someones opinion. Please reply
Dear I am sorry for the symptoms you are suffering Lifting on stress can provoke disc problem (lumbar disc) So probably you are suffering discal herniation Don't worry it is fully treatable You should wear a lumbar fortress and use pain killer to avoid pain Best regards
