The pain on the adams apple may be due to a swelling of the cartilage or a bursa near the hyoid bone please dont go into the technicalities!
Just meet your doctor as you may need to do a ultrasound scan of your neck before this can be confirmed!
Take care

ENT Specialist Dr. Sriram Nathan's  Response
Hello and welcome to health care magic,

Even if your pain is not very significant since the pain is present for a while now it is better to get it evaluated from an ENT
It could be anything from a mild infection to a reflux problem

You can try a pain killer like paracetamol in consultation meanwhile

regards
