I have a light pain on the right side of my adams Apple however i dont wake up with that pain and on a scale of 1 to 10 it might be a 3 but its not in my throat its deffinatley on the outside but every day for a month or better ive had it and i cant for the life of me figure it out and it doesnt hurt at all to swallow
The pain on the adams apple may be due to a swelling of the cartilage or a bursa near the hyoid bone please dont go into the technicalities! Just meet your doctor as you may need to do a ultrasound scan of your neck before this can be confirmed! Take care
Even if your pain is not very significant since the pain is present for a while now it is better to get it evaluated from an ENT It could be anything from a mild infection to a reflux problem
You can try a pain killer like paracetamol in consultation meanwhile
