What Causes Pain In Neck And Heaviness In Head While On Amlovas-At?
i am 44 year old... from February 2015 i am taking Amlovas-AT instead of amlodipin which is prescribed me from March 2014. doctor advise me take it continues although my BP is controlled. i have only problem is that pain in my neck and i am feeling heaviness on my head.. pl suggest me what to do?
hi amlovas AT has side effects of headache, dizziness and feeling dehydrated, it could be the drug causing you to have the symptoms. the other cause could be cervical spondylosis which means extra bone growth on your neck bones causing the nerves in your neck to be pressed leading you to feel pain in the neck going up to the head in order to confirm that you need an xray to be done. would suggest get reviewed by your physician if there is need to change your pressure medication. if it turns out to be cervical spondylosis then you need to take painkillers and might need a cervical collar if pain is really bad and you need to change your pillow from a soft one to a firm one. hope to have answered your query. thanks and takecare.
