What Causes Pain In Neck And Shoulder Inspite Of Taking Panadol And Nurofen?

Hi there Dr I woke up yesterday morning with pain in my neck and shoulder. The pain was so bad it went to the middle and I have been feeling winded in my chest ever since. I have taken Panadol and nurofen but nothing has changed what could this be? thank you

Hi,the problem looks like you are having a muscle spasm ,you might want to consult a orthopedician who will order an MRI if required after examining you.Some other cause like minor trauma to neck muscle ,injury to neck,bad posture and sleeping positions too can cause this kind of pain.
