Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently 3 months ago had stenosis surgery on my neck. The surgery did not go well and I was left withsevere chronic pain. My surgeon no longer will prescribe pain medication and the pain clinics want me to take oxycotin because I do take 10-12 10mg oxycodone per day but they work fine for me and I have had no problems taking that amount or dosage. I need help in finding a doctor who understands this and I do not take anything else and I do not drink alcohol at all! HELP MELISA
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, and I can under stand your problem but in my opinion if the pain is the main concern then it need be tolerate as long as it is possible because after some time you may not be in need of any pain medicine once you achieved the threshold of pain, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
