Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of a bulging disc in the cervical vertebral column, causing radicular nerve pain in the arm and hand. For this reason, I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and a cervical spine X-ray study.

Performing a cervical spine MRI coupled with nerve conduction studies may be needed. In the meantime, I recommend holding a cervical collar to help reduce the pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
