What Causes Pain In Shoulder Radiating Towards Arm And Collarbone?
I have pain in my right shoulder . I thought I had problems with my rotator in my shoulder but it s getting worse. The pain is deep and hurts bad it runs down my arm . It feels deep in the bone. Two weeks ago I found a lump a hair above my right collar bone and I don t have one on the left one. Now I feel pain from the collar bone down the arm . Im left handed and it s not the dominate arm. I still get the pain even when I have rested the arm but is not working
The pain in shoulder with radiation towards arm and collar bone indicates issue at Rotator cuff most likely. There can be issues with: - Ligament sprain, strain, tear - Nerve compression - Shoulder arthritis or post inflammatory changes with calcification or other changes
A detailed physical examination with an MRI of the shoulder joint is diagnostic in this regard.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
