General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pain and swelling after an injection are normal, but excruciating pain leading to the inability of movement as in your case is not.

I would advise you to wait for a day or two and if you don't feel any relief get yourself checked by a physician to rule out any infection.

Meanwhile continue taking the Aleve as it will help to reduce the pain and inflammation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
