What Causes Pain In The Back Having Ovarian Cysts And Diagnosed With PCOs?
i have been having episodes of my back going out off and on for 10 years. it has ruined my 20s and now im in my 30s and am fed up. i have been to the dr many many times over the years and they do x ray and muscle test and then tell me they see nothing wrong with me except i am too fat and they send me home with ibuprofen. i agree i need to loose weight but that cant be the only issue. when i goes out i have to belly crawl in aggony to get to the bath room and it usually takes about 45 min to get to and from bathroom. it is the most horrific pain ive ever felt even when its not that bad. i have been racking my brain for ideas as to what it could be.....when i was 18 i had 2 pinonial cysts on my tail bone that caused me to have earth shattering back pain. i had them lanced but did not go back for 2nd surgery to have the sacks removed. could they be re filling with fluid and causing my pain? could the left over scar tissue be causing my pain? also i have been diagnosed with pcos....could i have ovarian cysts rupturing? could that cause this pain? i need a dr. to think outside the box and help me pls and not just disreguard me as a drug seeker. i dont want drugs i want help for gods sake. i have no idea what kind of dr i should see....im ready to give up
Pain in the back is quite a common phenomenon. I suppose there's nothing much to worry.. Make sure you don't suffer from constipation, and have proper fat and spice restricted diet. Analgesic for symptomatic relief.

Polycystic ovaries and ovarian cysts can cause an ache associated with sickness. This can become acute and excruciating if the enlarged ovary or cyst gets twisted. A high body weight can add to back pain due to pressure on the spine in having to balance a larger mass.
However, the If extent of severity that you are reporting - i.e having to crawl in pain to the bathroom and the history of cysts near tail bone, alerts me to the need to have you thoroughly assessed physically and with investigations, including appropriate imaging. Please contact a doctor who specialises in issues of the spine.
