Hi,

ECG is the foremost investigation to rule out any cardiac involvement in chest pain. It is good that it was fine. Troponin levels are not high enough to alarm. The chest pain seems to be of gastric origin but yet if you are having a doubt regarding it then you should go for chest X-ray to rule out other causes of chest pain like any respiratory pathology (although difficulty breathing/cough are usually the associated symptoms for a lung pathology). Apart from that, you should undergo echocardiography to rule out any cardiac pathology. You can be sure enough about your situation after these two investigations.

Till then, I will suggest you take the following measures along with Lansoprazole that you are already taking:
•     Bland diet: no chillies, sour, fried food. More of milk
•     Avoid tea and coffee. Avoid very hot and very cold liquids
•     Refrain from smoking and alcohol
•     Have regular meals
•     Take regular sleep and adequate rest
•     Digene
•     Cap Becosules
•     Syp Sparacid.

You can go for endoscopy to rule out any active ulcer in the gastrointestinal tract.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Maninder,
