What Causes Pain In The Knee?

hi i am having pain below my knee at the top of my shin.if i touch it even very lightly the pain is excruc.ating.it seems like an electric shock pain.it is not sore until it is touched and will be sore for few minutes.seems when i touch it it is a odd feeling down the out side of my leg.its getting worse but my biggest concern is that i think the other one is going the same way.i am m not a walker and i dont over exercise.i am 50.4ft 12ins.and weigh 12stone

I am so sorry to hear about this pain. The description of your symptoms make it sound like a nerve related pain. Do you wear high boots shoes? Have you ever had a trauma to this knee? I will recommend that you stop provoking this pain and should it become spontaneous, get it evaluated by your doctor. In any case, it looks like a benign conditions as you have not reported any other symptoms of a possible infection or inflammation but for your manual provocation of this pain.
